GirlsGoIT begins its 4-week Autumn Bootcamp training on Introduction to Software development

Technologies have become a constant presence in our lives, providing us with unprecedented career opportunities. These technologies have slowly taken an essential part in people’s day-to-day lives and being without them would be unimaginable for some of us.

GirlsGoIT team announces the opening of a 4-week program for girls in Moldova, aged between 14 and 19 years, through which they will be initiated in the field of Information Technology.

GirlsGoIT has become a national program in Moldova building future STEM ambassadors to pique interest in mainstream technologies. With the support of parents and partners, 5 editions of the Summer Camp have already been successfully implemented in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, and the Autumn Bootcamp is in its fourth edition.

Our 4-week training programme in 15 regions of Moldova (Chișinău, Sălcuța, Strășeni, Călărași, Ștefan-Vodă, Ungheni, Soroca, Drochia, Bălți, Telenești, Nisporeni, Hâncești, Căușeni, Cimișlia, Cahul) is based on:
• Development of a product;
• Development of a website or web application;
• Personal development.

By participating in the bootcamp, you will:
• Learn about programming and how to choose your career in IT;
• Meet other girls, interested in Modern Technologies;
• Meet IT specialists;
• Networking with new people, involved in the civic and corporate sector in our country, as well as internationally.

The program will run from 2nd - 23rd November 2019, during which the participants will learn the first steps in programming: HTML, CSS and other programming languages, develop a product with the help of GirlsGoIT mentors, and in the end, launch the final product.
